levied or received under and by virtue of a certain Proclamation ‘‘

tberein mentioned should be taken to be as valid and lawful as if tlu' same had been imposed by tlie authority of the L(\gislature and whereas in pursuance thereof certain fees have been berctofore and are still levied and paid for tbe registration of vessels in said Colony And whereas it is expedient to abolish the same Be it enacted by the Pees on registration

of vessels to cease.

heretofore charged and collected for the registration of vessels in the said Colony shall cease and that henceforth it shall not he lawful for any person to demand collect levy or receive any fees or sum or sums of money whatever for or on account of the registry of any vessel or vessels in the said Colony any thing in any Statute or Act of the Governor and Council to the contrary notwithstanding.
