Shipping and Pilotage (Ports and Harbours)

Amendment Regulations 2010

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Shipping and Pilotage (Ports and
Harbours) Amendment Regulations 2010.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2010.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Shipping and Pilotage (Ports and
Harbours) Regulations 1966.

4.             Schedule 3 amended

(1) In Schedule 3 Division 2 item 1 delete paragraphs (a) and (b)
and insert:

(a)

subject to paragraph (b), where the length of the vessel exclusive of bowsprit —

(i)	does not exceed 6 m	$108.00
(ii)	exceeds 6 m but does not exceed 10 m	$141.40

(iii) exceeds 10 m but does not exceed 20 m	$206.90
(iv) exceeds 20 m but does not exceed 30 m	$317.90

(v) exceeds 30 m but does not exceed 50 m $485.00

(vi) exceeds 50 m but does not exceed 70 m $758.00

(b)

where vessel enters port for coal, fuel oil,

supplies or orders, and not loading or

unloading cargo or taking on more than

10 passengers $96.30

(2) In Schedule 3 Division 2 item 3 delete paragraphs (a) to (f) and
insert:

(a)	does not exceed 6 m	$108.00
(b)	exceeds 6 m but does not exceed 10 m	$141.40
(c)	exceeds 10 m but does not exceed 20 m	$206.90
(d)	exceeds 20 m but does not exceed 30 m	$317.90
