AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1993

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1.     These regulations may be cited as the Shipping and Pilotage (Mooring

Control Areas) Amendment Regulations 1993.

Principal regulations

2.     In these regulations the Shipping and Pilotage (Mooring Control Areas)

Regulations 198.?* are referred to as the principal regulations.

Regulation 3 amended

3.     Regulation 3 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting the

definition of "registration year".

Regulation 6 amended

4.     Regulation 6 of the principal regulations is amended in subregulation (2)

by deleting "fee for annual" and substituting the following —

Regulation 7 amended

5.     Regulation 7 of the principal regulations is amended —

(a) in subregulation (2) by deleting "The annual hiring fee" and substituting the following —

Where a hiring fee is charged it "; and

(b) by repealing subregulation (3) and substituting the following subregulation —

(3) A hiring fee referred to in subregulation (2)
must be paid in advance to the Controlling Authority
on or before the commencement of each registration

Regulation 15 amended

6.     Regulation 15 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting

paragraph (d) and substituting the following paragraph —

(d) where the hiring fee has not been paid by the

commencement of the current registration period. If

Regulation 18 amended

7.    Regulation 18 of the principal regulations is amended in

subregulation (1) by deleting "annual".

Schedule amended

8.     The Schedule to the principal regulations is amended in Form 1 —

(a) by deleting "Annual hiring fee" and substituting the following -

CI Hiring fee** "; and

(b)	by inserting at the end of the form the following footnote —
di * * Delete where not applicable ".
