Sheriff Act 2009

Sheriff Amendment Regulations 2018

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Sheriff Regulations 2009 to prescribe an Act to be court and enforcement legislation for the purposes of the Sheriff Act 2009.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 56 of the Sheriff Act 2009.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 12 April 2018.

4Prescribed court and enforcement legislation

After regulation 20(i) of the Sheriff Regulations 2009[1] insert—

"(ia)the Major Transport Projects Facilitation Act 2009;".
