Act to amend the Shale Oil Bounty Act 1917–1923.

Preamble.
BE
it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives
of the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant
originated in the House of Representatives, as follows:—
Short
title and citation.
1.—(1.) This Act may be cited as the Shale Oil Bounty Act 1926.
(2.) The Shale
Oil Bounty Act 1917–1923 is in this Act
referred to as the Principal Act.
(3.) The Principal Act, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Shale Oil Bounty Act 1917–1926.
Extension
of period during which bounty payable.
2.Section two of the Principal Act is amended by
omitting the words “nine years” and inserting in their stead the words “twelve
years”.
Specification
of bounty.
3.Section three of the Principal Act is amended by
omitting the words “nine years” and inserting in their stead the words “twelve
years”.
Amendment
of Schedule.
4. The Schedule to the Principal Act is amended—
(a) by omitting from the second column
the figure “9” and inserting in its stead the figures “12”; and
