Sex Discrimination (Operation of

Legislation) (No. 2) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Sex Discrimination Act 1984.

Principal Regulations

1. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Sex Discrimination (Operation of Legislation) (No. 2) Regulations.

Operation of paragraphs 40 (1) (a) and 40 (1) (b) of the Act—New South Wales legislation

2. Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraph 1 (a) “31 January 1988” and substituting “31 July 1988”.

Operation of paragraphs 40 (1) (a) and 40 (1) (b) of the Act—Victoria legislation

3. Regulation 5 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from subregulation (2) “31 January 1988” and substituting “31 July 1988”.
