Sewers and Drains (Penguin Restricted Sewerage District) Order 2007
I make the following order under section 6 of the Sewers and Drains Act 1954 .17 August 2007

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Sewers and Drains (Penguin Restricted Sewerage District) Order 2007 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3InterpretationIn this order – Act means the Sewers and Drains Act 1954 . 4Penguin Restricted Sewerage DistrictThe area of land defined in Schedule 1 to this order is – (a) appointed to be, and is defined as, a restricted sewerage district; and (b) named the Penguin Restricted Sewerage District. 5Declared purposeFor the purpose of section 8 of the Act, the declared purpose of the area of land referred to in clause 4 is to carry off simple sullage water and faeces and such deleterious effluents that comply with the appropriate minimum standards and other requirements prescribed by by-laws made by the local authority under section 67A of the Act. 6Legislation revokedThe legislation specified in Schedule 3 is revoked. EXPLANATORY NOTE

(a) appoints, defines and names the Penguin Restricted Sewerage District; and (b) declares the purpose of that District; and (c) revokes the Sewers and Drains (Penguin Limited Sewerage District) Order 1986 .
