Sewers and Drains (Penguin Limited Sewerage District) Order 2009
I make the following order under section 6 of the Sewers and Drains Act 1954 .28 May 2009

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Sewers and Drains (Penguin Limited Sewerage District) Order 2009 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette. 3InterpretationIn this order – Act means the Sewers and Drains Act 1954 . 4Penguin Limited Sewerage DistrictThe area of land defined in Schedule 1 to this order is – (a) appointed to be, and is defined as, a limited sewerage district; and (b) named the Penguin Limited Sewerage District. 5Declared purposeFor the purpose of section 8 of the Act, the declared purpose of the Penguin Limited Sewerage District is to carry off simple sullage water and faeces. 6Legislation revokedThe legislation specified in Schedule 3 is revoked. Schedule 1Penguin Limited Sewerage DistrictClause 4 All that area of land comprising about 1 090 hectares shown as Lot 1 and bounded by a heavy black line on Plan 8556 in the Central Plan Register, a reduced copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(a) appoints, defines and names the Penguin Limited Sewerage District; and (b) declares the purpose of that district; and (c) revokes the Sewers and Drains (Penguin Restricted Sewerage District) Order 2007 .
