Sewerage and Water Supply Act Amendment Act 1982, No. 75 1033 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Sewerage and Water Supply Act Amendment Act 1982. (2) In this Act the Sewerage and Water Supply Act1949-1981 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Sewerage and Water Supply Act1949-1982. 2. Commencement . (1) Section 1 (1) and this section shall commence on the day on which this Act is assented to for and on behalf of Her Majesty. (2) This Act, other than section 1 (1) and this section, shall commence on a date to be fixed by Proclamation. 3. Amendment of s. 7. Constitution of the Board . Section 7 of the Principal Act is amended in subsection (2) by omitting paragraph (i) and substituting the following paragraph:- " (i) A representative of the Department of Local Government nominated in that behalf by the Minister for the time being administering that Department; ". 4. New s. 14A. Limitation on Interim Licence Holders. The Principal Act is amended by inserting after section 14 the following section:- " 14A. Limitation on Interim Licence Holders. A person to whom an Interim Licence is first granted by the Board after the commencement of the Sewerage and Water Supply Act Amendment Act 1982 shall not enter into a contract (other than a contract of employment) with any person to perform any work which he is entitled to perform pursuant to section 15 and shall perform that work only while employed by another person.".
