Settlement Agents Amendment Regulations

(No. 2) 2011

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and Administrator in Executive
Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Settlement Agents Amendment
Regulations (No. 2) 2011.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2011.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Settlement Agents
Regulations 1982.

4.             Regulation 3 deleted

Delete regulation 3.

5.             Regulation 5 amended

(1) Delete regulation 5(1)(a) and (b) and insert:

(a)	is to be in a form approved by the Commissioner; and
(b)	is to be published by the applicant in a newspaper with State-wide circulation within 14 days after the application is made.

(2) In regulation 5(2) delete “prior to the hearing of his application
lodge with the Registrar” and insert:

lodge with the Commissioner

6.             Various provisions amended

Amend the provisions listed in the Table as set out in the Table.

7.             Schedule 6 amended
