Sentencing Legislation (Short Sentences -

Aboriginal Community By-Laws) Amendment

Regulations 2004

Act 2003 comes into operation.

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and Administrator in Executive
Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Sentencing Legislation
(Short Sentences - Aboriginal Community By-Laws) Amendment
Regulations 2004.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day on which section 106 of the Sentencing Legislation Amendment and Repeal

3. Aboriginal Movement for Outback Survival (Mt Margaret
Mission) By-laws amended

(1)

The amendments in this regulation are to the Aboriginal Movement for Outback Survival (Mt Margaret Mission) Bylaws*.

[* Published in Gazette 21 June 1991, p. 3011-14.]
(2) By-law 18(a) is repealed and the following paragraph is inserted
instead -

"

(a) Any person who breaches or fails to comply with any of these by-laws is guilty of an offence and is liable to a fine of not more than $100.

(3) By-law 18(b) is amended by deleting "the penalties provided"
and inserting instead -

any fine imposed ".

4.            Bardi Aborigines Association Inc., By-laws amended

(1) The amendments in this regulation are to the Bardi Aborigines
Association Inc., Bylaws*.

(2) Clause 16(1) is repealed and the following paragraph is inserted
instead -
(1) Any person who breaks any of these By-laws is guilty

of an offence and is liable to a fine of not more than

$100.

(3) Clause 16(2) is amended by deleting "the penalties provided"
and inserting instead -

5.           Beagle Bay Aboriginal Council inc. By-laws 1982 amended

(1) The amendments in this regulation are to the Beagle Bay
Aboriginal Council Inc. By-laws 1982*.

(2) By-law 16(1) is repealed and the following sub-bylaw is
inserted instead -

By-laws amended
(1) The amendments in this regulation are to the Bidyadanga
Aboriginal Community La Grange Incorporated Bylaws*.

(2) Clause 16(1) is repealed and the following paragraph is inserted
instead -

(1) Any person who breaks any of these By-laws is guilty

of an offence and is liable to a fine of not more than
