I, the Governor, acting under section 2(1) of the Sentencing Legislation Amendment and Repeal Act 1999 and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix the day after the day on which this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette as the day on which sections 37 and 39 of that Act come into operation.
