Sentence Administration Amendment (Family Violence Reform) Regulations 2024

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.Citation

These regulations are the Sentence Administration Amendment (Family Violence Reform) Regulations 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

• (a)

  regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

• (b)

  the rest of the regulations — on 18 December 2024.

3.Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Sentence Administration Regulations 2003.

4.Regulation 23B amended

After regulation 23B(2)(c) insert:

• (ca)

  details of any failure by the offender to comply with —

  • (i)

    a direction given under the Sentencing Act 1995 section 67A(6) or 76A(3); or

  • (ii)

    an order given under the Sentencing Act 1995 section 75(10);
