Self-Government (Transitional Provisions) Regulations1 (Amendment)

The Australian Capital Territory Executive makes the following Regulations under the Self-Government (Transitional Provisions) Act 1989.

Commencement

1.  These Regulations commence on the day on which they are notified in the Gazette.

Addition

2.  After regulation 2 of the Self-Government (Transitional Provisions) Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Modification of Supreme Court Act

“3.  The Supreme Court Act 1933 is modified by omitting from section 37 ‘Governor-General’ and substituting ‘Executive’.”.
