Seeds Amendment Regulations 2001

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

I.            Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Seeds Amendment
Regulations 2001.

2.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Seeds
Regulations 1982*.

(1)	Clause 1(2) of the Eighth Schedule is deleted.
(2)	Clause 2 of the Eighth Schedule is amended by deleting ", its equipment, and the floor" and inserting instead -
" and its equipment "

3.            Regulation 3 amended

Regulation 3 is amended by inserting the following definition before the definition of "Schedule" -

"premises" includes a fixed or movable structure and a

vehicle;

4.            Eighth Schedule amended

(3) Clause 3 of the Eighth Schedule is deleted and the following

clause is inserted instead —

3. The seed processing works shall be provided with a system
for the extraction of dust and other waste, adequate to
remove reject material and to enable all processed seed and
containers to be presented for inspection in a clean
condition.
