SEEDS AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1995

Made by The Lieutenant-Governor and Deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1. These regulations may be cited as the Seeds Amendment

2. In these regulations the Seeds Regulations 1982* are referred to as the

principal regulations.

First Schedule amended

3.     The First Schedule to the principal regulations is amended in the item

relating to "Vicia faba var. minor" by deleting the common name "Tick bean"

from column 2 and substituting the following -

4.     The Third Schedule to the principal regulations is amended by deleting

the following items -

Sixth Schedule amended

5. The Sixth Schedule to the principal regulations is amended —

(a) in Part 1, by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraph —

(b) sampling procedures are in accordance with the rules contained in chapter 2, the annexe to chapter 2 and Appendix D of the 1993 International Rules for Seed Testing published by the International Seed Testing Association in "Seed Science and Technology', Volume 21, Supplement;

and

(b) by repealing Part 2 and the heading thereto and substituting the following —

Part 2 — Analysis

The methods to be used in the analysis of a seed sample are those contained in chapters 3, 4, 5 and 15 and in the annexes to chapters 3, 5 and 15 of the 1993 International Rules for Seed Testing published by the International Seed Testing Association in "Seed Science and Technology", Volume 21, Supplement.

Ninth Schedule amended

6. The Ninth Schedule to the principal regulations is amended —

(a) in item 6, by deleting "10 000 kilograms" and substituting the following —

the quantity specified in the annexe to chapter 2 of the 1993 International Rules for Seed Testing published by the International Seed Testing Association in "Seed Science and Technology", Volume 21, Supplement

and

(b) in item 7 (1), by deleting "of 50 kilograms".
