Security Providers and Another Regulation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 Part 1 Preliminary [s 1] Part 1 Preliminary 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Security Providers and Another Regulation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 . Part 2 Amendment of Security Providers Regulation 2008 2 Regulation amended This part amends the Security Providers Regulation 2008. 3 Amendment of s 6 (Photographs and evidence of satisfactory completion of approved course to accompany particular applications) (1) Section 6, heading— omit, insert — 6 Requirements for photographs and other evidence (2) Section 6(2)— omit, insert — (2) The application must be accompanied by— (a) if the application is for a licence and the applicant has not, in the last 2 years, given the chief executive 2 recent certified photographs of the applicant—2 recent certified photographs of the applicant; and (b) if the application is for a class 1 unrestricted licence—evidence satisfactory to the chief executive of the applicant’s successful Page 2 2015 SL No. 184

(3) The chief executive may require an applicant for renewal of a licence to give the chief executive 2 recent certified photographs of the applicant. (4) In this section— recent certified photograph , of an applicant, means a recent passport-size photograph certified to be a photograph of the applicant by a person who has known the applicant for at least 1 year. 4 Amendment of s 12 (Change to information about licensee) (1) Section 12(1), ‘written’— omit .
