542 Securities Industry ( Application of Laws) Act Amendment Act 1987, No. 45 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Securities Industry (Application of Laws) Act Amendment Act 1987. (2) In this Act the Securities Industry (Application of Laws) Act1981 as amended by the Companies (Consequential Amendments) Act1981 and the Companies (Administration) Act 1981-1984 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Securities Industry (Application of Laws) Act 1981-1987. 2. Amendment of s. 15A. Exemptions from " prescribed interest". Section 15A of the Principal Act is amended in subsection (1) by- (a) omitting the expression "paragraph (g) of "; (b) omitting the words "that paragraph" and substituting the words "that interpretation".
