I make the following order under section 3(3) of the Second-hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1994 .9 February 2012

1Short titleThis order may be cited as the Second-hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers (Exemption) Order 2012 . 2CommencementThis order takes effect on 1 April 2012. 3InterpretationIn this order – Act means the Second-hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1994 . 4Licensed motor vehicle traders exempt from ActA licensed motor vehicle trader, within the meaning of the Motor Vehicle Traders Act 2011 , engaged in the trade of dealing in motor vehicles is exempt from the operation of the Act.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the order) This order exempts licensed motor vehicle traders, within the meaning of the
