Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers (Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations 2007

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers (Exemption) Regulations 2006 to exempt a person from the application of the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 31 of the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989.

3Person exempted from the application of the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989

At the end of regulation 4 of the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers (Exemption) Regulations 2006[1] insert—

"(2)James Equipment Pty Ltd ACN 120 745 851 is exempted from the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989.".
