SECOND-HAND DEALERS AND COLLECTORS ACT 1906—

REGULATION

(Excluding certain goods from the operation of the Act)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of the Second-hand Dealers and Collectors Act 1906,

has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Seventh Schedule to the Second-hand Dealers and Collectors Act

1906 is amended by inserting after paragraph (1) the following paragraph:

(m) Second-hand clothing, other than furs and leathers.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to exempt dealers in second-hand clothing (other than furs and leathers) from compliance with the provisions of the Second-hand Dealers and Collectors Act 1906 in relation to that clothing. This is achieved by adding to the list of gods excluded from the Act’s definition of “second-hand goods”.
