An Act to amend the definition of “search warrant" in section 10 of the Search Warrants Act 1985 as a consequence of the enactment of the Poultry Meat Industry Act 1986. [Assented to 26 November 1986]

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and [legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows;

Short title

]. This Act may be cited as the “Search Warrants (Poultry Meat

Industry) Amendment Act 1986” ,

Commencement

2. (1) Except as provided by subsection (2), this Act shall commence

on the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 shall commence on the day appointed and notified under

section 2 (3) of the Poultry Meat Industry Act 1986.

3. The Search Warrants Act 1985 is amended by inserting in the definition of “search warrant” in section 10, in alphabetical order of Acts, the following words:

section !6 of the Poultry Meat Industry Act 1986;
