Act No. 160, 1986

An Act to amend the Search Warrants Act 1985 as a consequence of the

enactment of the Local Government (General Revision) Amendment Act 1986. [Assented to 17 December 1986)

Search Warrants (Local Government Inspectors) Amendment 1986

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the "Search Warrants (Local Government

Inspectors) Amendment Act 1986".

Commencement

2. (1) Except as provided by subsection (2), this Act shall commence

on the date of assent to this Act.

(2) Section 3 shall commence on the day on which Schedule 4 (2) to the

Local Government (General Revision) Amendment Act 1986 commences.

Amendment of Act No. 37, 1985

3. The Search Warrants Act 1985 is amended by inserting in the definition of "search warrant" in section 10 in alphabetical order of Acts the following matter:

section 213B of the Local Government Act 1919;
