SCIENCE HOUSE (GRANT) ACT.
Act No. 9, 1928.

Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of
the same, as follows;—

(2) Tiie grant shall provide in such forni as thc
Governor may direct for—
| (a) | tlic erection by the grantees on tlie said land of buildings to tlic value of thirty thousand pounds at tlic least within a period of two years from the commencement of this Act or within such further time thereafter as tlie Governor may direct, and that the buildings sliall be in accordance with plans and specifica tions to be approved by tlie Governor on tlie recommendation of the Government Architect; |

| (b) | power for the grantees to sell, mortgage, lease, or otlicrwise dispose of tiie said land M'itli the consent of the Governor first had and obtained, and for the application, with the like consent, of the purchase money or other proceeds of sale, mortgage, lease, or other disposition of the said land ; but subject to a provision that a lease or tenancy of any portion of the bnikling to be erected may be made, and tiic rents therefrom applied without such consent. |
| (c) | such provisions, reservations, conditions, and restrictions relating to the user of the land or to the control and management of the Imildings tliereon as to the Governor may seem expedient or proper; |
| (d) | the forfeiture of tlie land and the eaneellation of the grant upon any breach of the provisions of the grant, |
(3) Upon the forfeiture of (lie land tlie Governor may by proclamation vest the land in a Minister of tlic Crown or in a Statutory body to he applied for sucli and thc like purposes as by law it was applied immediately before the commencement of this Act.
