REGULATIONS UNDER THE SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY RESEARCH ACT 1949-1968.*

I, THE the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Science and Industry Research Act 1949-1968.

Amendments of the Science and Industry Research Regulations 

Travelling allowance payable to members of a State Committee.

1. Regulation 5 of the Science and Industry Research Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Twenty-one dollars” and inserting in their stead the words “Twenty-five dollars”.

Appointment &c., of officers.

2. Regulation 6 of the Science and Industry Research Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Nine thousand three hundred and ten dollars” and inserting in their stead the words “Sixteen thousand three hundred and seventeen dollars”.

Application.

3. The rate specified in regulation 5 of the Science and Industry Research Regulations as amended by these Regulations applies in relation to travelling allowance paid or payable to the Chairman or another member of a State Committee in respect of the twenty-fourth day of January, 1972, or any subsequent day.
