REGULATIONS UNDER THE SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY RESEARCH ACT 1949-1973.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Science and Industry Research Act 1949-1973.

Amendments of the Science and Industry Research Regulations 

Travelling allowance payable to members of a State Committee.

1. (1) Regulation 5 of the Science and Industry Research Regulations is amended by omitting the words “ Twenty-eight dollars ” and substituting the figures “ $37 ”.

(2) The amendment effected by sub-regulation (1) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 March 1975.

Appointment, &c., of officers.

2. Regulation 6 of the Science and Industry Research Regulations is amended by omitting the words “ Twenty thousand and five dollars ” and substituting the figures “ $24,610 ”.
