REGULATIONS UNDER THE SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY RESEARCH ACT 1949-1966.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Science and Industry Research Act 1949-1966.

Amendments of the Science and Industry Research Regulations 

Travelling allowance payable to members of a State Committee.

1. Regulation 5 of the Science and Industry Research Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Eight pounds ten shillings” and inserting in their stead the words “Twenty-one dollars”.

Appointment, &c., of officers.

2. Regulation 6 of the Science and Industry Research Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Four thousand six hundred and fifty-five pounds” and inserting in their stead the words “Nine thousand three hundred and ten dollars”.

Application.

3. The rate of allowance provided for in regulation 5 of the Science and Industry Research Regulations, as amended by these Regulations, applies to travelling on the business of the Organization on or after the sixteenth day of March, 1966.
