Schools Authority (Amendment) Ordinance 1988

An Ordinance to amend the Schools Authority Ordinance 1976

Short title

1.  This Ordinance may be cited as the Schools Authority (Amendment) Ordinance 1988.1

Principal Ordinance

2.  In this Ordinance, “Principal Ordinance” means the Schools Authority Ordinance 1976.2

Insertion

3.  After section 7A of the Principal Ordinance the following sections are inserted in Part II:

Determination of pre-school fees

7B.  (1)  The Minister may, by notice published in the Gazette, determine fees in respect of the attendance by persons at pre-schools.

“(2)  Fees determined by the Minister are payable to the Authority.

Exemptions

“7C.  The Minister may, by instrument, exempt a specified person or a person included in a specified class of persons from the requirement to pay a fee determined under subsection 7B (1).”.
