Schools Authority (Allowances) Regulations

I, WALLACE CLYDE FIFE, the Minister of State for Education, hereby make the following Regulations under the Schools Authority Ordinance 1976.

Citation
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Schools Authority (Allowances)

Regulations.
Allowances payable to Chief Education Officer

2. Subject to any determination made under the Remuneration Tribunals Act 1973, the Chief Education Officer is entitled to be paid such allowances as would be payable to him if he were an officer included in the Second Division of the Australian Public Service.

Performance of functions in relation to allowances

3. For the purposes of regulation 2, any function that is required to be performed by the Public Service Board or a Chief Officer of a Department in relation to the payment of an allowance to an officer of the Australian Public Service shall, in relation to the payment under that regulation of an allowance of the same kind to the Chief Education Olhcer, be performed by the Minister.
