School Education Amendment Regulations
(No. 2) 2020

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.
1. Citation
These regulations are the School Education Amendment
Regulations (No. 2) 2020.
2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation as follows —
(a)
regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.
3. Regulations amended
administration of the Migration
These regulations amend the School Education
Regulations 2000.
4. Regulation 14A amended
Delete regulation 14A(b) and insert:
(b) the child or a person in respect of whom the child is a dependent child — (i) holds a visa of a kind set out in Schedule 2 Division 1; or
(ii) has applied for a visa of a kind set out in Schedule 2 Division 2 and has received a letter from the Department of State of the Commonwealth assisting in the

Act 1958 (Commonwealth) confirming
that the application is valid.
Note: The heading to amended regulation 14A is to read:
