School Education Amendment Regulations 2017

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.       Citation

Regulations 2000.

These regulations are the School Education Amendment
Regulations 2017.

2.     Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.      Regulations amended

These regulations amend the School Education

4. Regulation 131A replaced
Delete regulation 131A and insert:

131A. Other matters about which standards may be

determined (Act s. 159(1)(n))

For the purposes of section 159(1)(n), the Minister may also determine standards for non-government schools about any of the following matters —

(a)	the management of students' behaviour;
(b)	the minimum age children must reach to be

enrolled at schools;

(c) the delivery of the curriculum or curriculums of

schools;

(d) the number of children enrolled at schools.
