School Education Amendment Regulations 2013

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the School Education Amendment
Regulations 2013.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the School Education
Regulations 2000.

4.             Regulation 129 replaced

Delete regulation 129 and insert:

129.         Additional matters to be taken into account in determining applications for registration and renewal of registration (Act s. 159(1)(m))

For the purposes of section 159(1)(m) the Minister in
determining an application for registration, or for
renewal of registration, of a school is to take into

account the following —

(a)	the hours of instruction proposed for the school;
(b)	the procedures for the reporting of critical incidents to the Minister;
(c)	the arrangements for the separation of the day-to-day management and control of the school by the principal of the school from the overall governance of the school by the governing body of the school.
