206 Scartwater Station Trust Extension Act Amendment Act 1989, No. 20 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the Scartwater Station Trust Extension Act Amendment Act 1989. 2. Principal Act and amended citation . (1) In this Act the Scartwater Station Trust Extension Act Amendment Act 1960-1988 is referred to as the Principal Act. (2) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Scartwater Station Trust Extension Act Amendment Act 1960-1989. 3. Collective title. The Scartwater Station Trust Extension Act of 1941 as amended by The Scartwater Station Trust Extension Act Amendment Act of 1960 and The Scartwater Station Trust Extension Act Amendment Act of 1960 as subsequently amended may be collectively cited as the Scartwater Station Trust Extension Acts 1941-1989. 4. Amendment of s. 4. Home for aged returned servicemen . Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (b) and substituting the following paragraph:- "(b) The establishment (including the extension from time to time), maintenance, conduct and control on such land of a home for- (i) persons of or over the age of sixty years for whose benefit the Managing Trustees are empowered by the said Indenture, the Principal Act or this Act to manage and administer the Trust property; (ii) persons who- (A) immediately prior to applying for admission to such home, have been residents in Queensland for a period of three years or such other period as the Managing Trustees may fix from time to time; (B) have been members of the Defence Forces within the meaning of the Veterans' Entitlements Act1986 of the Commonwealth, as amended from time to time; and (C) pursuant to section 25 of the Social Security Act1947 of the Commonwealth, as amended from time to time, are qualified to receive an age pension within the meaning of that Act; (iii) spouses- (A) of the persons eligible, pursuant to provisions (B) and (C) of subparagraph (ii), for residence in that home;
