An Ordinance to amend the Scaffolding and Lifts Ordinance 1957

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Scaffolding and Lifts (Amendment)

Ordinance (No.2) 1982.1

The Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Scaffolding and Lifts Ordinance 19572 is

(b)	by omitting from paragraph (a) in the third column of item 24A in
Part II "$1.00" and substituting "$2.00".

amended—

(a) by omitting paragraph 72A (1) (a) in the third column of item 11 in Part II and substituting the following paragraph:

"(a) in the case of building work, not being building work in

relation to a single private dwelling-house—

(i)     where the cost of the work exceeds $5,000 but does not exceed $100,000—$5 for every $1,000, or part of $1,000, of the cost; or

(ii)    where the cost of the work exceeds $100,000—$500 and, in addition, $1 for every $1,000 or part of $1,000 by which the cost exceeds $100,000; or"; and
