An Ordinance to amend the Scaffolding and Lifts Ordinance 1957

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Scaffolding and Lifts (Amendment)

Ordinance 1981. 1

exceeds $55,000.".

The Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Scaffolding and Lifts Ordinance 19572 is amended—

(a)	by omitting from the third column of item 8 in Part I "$40,000" and substituting "$55,000"; and
(b)	by omitting paragraph 72A(1)(D) in the third column of item 11 in

Part II and substituting the following paragraph:

"(b) in the case of building work in relation to a single private
dwelling-house, where the cost of the work exceeds $55,000-—
$5 for every $1,000, or part of $1,000, by which that cost
