532 (Qtt>`ttslitttbr ANNO VICESIMO OCTAVO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 55 of 1979- An Act to amend the Sawmills LicensingAct 1936-1976 in certain particulars [ASSENTED To 30TH NOVEMBER, 1979] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Sa3imills Licensing Act Amendment Act 1979. (2) In this Act the Sawmills Licensing Act1936-1976 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Sawmills Licensing Act1936-1979. 2. Amendment of s. 2. Section 2 of the Principal Act is amended by, in the meaning of the term " Maximum productive capacity ", omitting the following words:- For the purposes of this definition the volume of a log shall be its net volume ".
Sawmills Licensing Act Amendment Act 1979, No. 55 533 3. Amendment of s. 9 . Section 9 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsections (3), (4), (5), (6) and (7). 4. New s. 15A. The Principal Act is amended by inserting after section 15 the following section:- " 15A. Replacement of lost or destroyed license or certificate of exemption . (1) A licensee or the holder of a certificate of exemption may, on application made to the Conservator of Forests in or to the effect of the prescribed form and on payment of the prescribed fee, receive from the Conservator a duplicate or certified copy of his license or certificate of exemption if the Conservator is satisfied that the license or certificate of exemption has been lost or destroyed. (2) A duplicate or certified copy of a license or certificate of exemption referred to in subsection (1) shall be endorsed with a memorandum setting out the reasons for its issue, and thereafter shall be available for all purposes as if it were the original license or certificate of exemption.".
