An Ordinance to provide for the reduction

or modification of the Toll upon Sandal-

wood, and for the appropriation thereof.

Revenue of the port whereat the same is intended to be shipped ; and whereas by the eighth section of the said Ordinance a power is given. to the Governor to suspend the operation of the said Ordinance for such time as he may deem expedient, but no provision is made for reducing or modifying the amount of the said toll, so as to meet any temporary depression or considerable fluctuation in the price of Sandal-wood ; and whereas it is expedient to make such provision; Be it therefore enacted, by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent
