An Act to amend section 6 of the Sancta Sophia College Incorporation Act, 1929, to remove the requirement that the principal of the college shall be a duly approved nun. [Assented to, 16th April, 1982.]

Sancta Sophia College Incorporation (Amendment).

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title.

1.      This Act may be cited as the “Sancta Sophia College Incorporation

(Amendment) Act, 1982”.

Amendment of Act No. 45, 1929.

2. The Sancta Sophia College Incorporation Act, 1929, is amended by

omitting from section 6 the words “principal shall always be a duly approved

nun, and the”.
