Sales Tax Assessment Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Sales Tax Assessment Act 1992.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Sales Tax Assessment Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   New regulation 8A

3.1   After regulation 8, insert:

Application of Divisions 3 and 4 of Part 7A of the Act

 “8A. Divisions 3 and 4 of Part 7A of the Act apply to dealings on or after 1 September 1998.”.
