PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE METEOROLOGY ACT 1906.
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting
with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby certify that, on
account of urgency, the following Regulations under the Meteorology Act 1906
should come into immediate operation, and make the Regulations to come into
operation forthwith as Provisional Regulations.

The
Regulations relating to the sale of Meteorological Publications are repealed
and new Regulations in the following terms are made in lieu thereof:—

copy.
4. Any of
the above publications may be distributed free or at cost price to Public
Institutions, Government Departments, Corporations, and persons approved by the
Minister, or any officer specially deputed by him, on the following
conditions:—
(a)
That they are posted up for the information of the public; or
(b)
That they are used for educational purposes; or
(c)
That they are in return for reciprocal services to the Meteorological Bureau;
or
(d) That they are required for
advertising the resources of the Commonwealth.
5 Any of
the above publications may also be distributed free to Official Meteorological
Institutions and other kindred institutions in any part of the world.
