T )E it enacted by tlie Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, -D by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­ lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South iWales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the “ Sale of Goods short title,

(Amendment) Act, .1953” .	citation and

(2) The Sale of Goods Act, 1923, as amended by “ “ t-

subsequent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the Sale

of Goods Act, 1923-1953.

Amendment of	2 . The Sale of Goods Act, 1923-1937, is amended by

Draft	(2) Any term, express or implied, in any contract of sale of sheep skins entered into after the commencement of the Sale of Goods (Amendment) Act, 1953, providing that in computing the price of the sheep skins any deduction of the kind commonly known as the draft allowance is to be made from the weiglit of the sheep skins, shall be void and of no effect.
