Salaries and Allowances Amendment Act 2001

An Act to amend the Salaries and Allowances Act 1975.

[Assented to 26 November 2001]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

1.             Short title

This Act may be cited as the Salaries and Allowances

Amendment Act 2001.

2.             Commencement

This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives

the Royal Assent.

3.             Section 6 amended

Section 6(1)(b) of the Salaries and Allowances Act 1975* is

amended by deleting “Select Committees of a House or Joint

Select Committees of Houses, not being in either case Standing

Committees;” and inserting instead —

“

committees of a House or joint committees of both Houses;

”.
