1.         Name of Notice

This Notice is the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Weekly Interest on the Lump Sum) Notice 2016.

2.         Commencement
            This Notice commences on 1 July 2016.

3.         Cessation
            This Notice ceases to have effect after 30 June 2017.

4.         Specification

For subsection 21(5) of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988, I specify that the rate of ‘weekly interest on the lump sum’ is 2.72 per cent per annum.
