1Name of Regulations [see Note 1]

 These Regulations are the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Regulations 1990.

2Interpretation

 In these Regulations, the Act means the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988.

2AEntities

  • (1)

    For paragraph (c) of the definition of Entity in subsection 4 (1) of the Act, each person, body, organisation or group of persons mentioned in an item in Schedule 1 is prescribed.

  • (2)

    For the definition of principal officer, in relation to an Entity, in subsection 4 (1) of the Act, the principal officer of an Entity mentioned in column 2 of Schedule 1 is the person from time to time holding or acting in the office mentioned in column 3 in relation to that Entity.

3Fee for approved guide

 The fee for the purposes of subsection 28 (8) of the Act is $10.

4Prescribed persons for the purposes of paragraph 114A (2) (b) of the Act

 For the purposes of paragraph 114A (2) (b) of the Act, the following persons are prescribed:

  • (a)

    in relation to members of the Defence Force — the Chief of the Defence Force;

  • (b)

    in relation to members of the Australian Federal Police — the Commissioner of the Australian Federal Police.
