I, ERIC ABETZ, Minister for Employment, make this Declaration under subsection 100(1) of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988.

1              Name of Declaration

This Declaration is the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Licence Eligibility – Medibank Health Solutions) Declaration 2014 (No. 1).

2              Commencement

This Declaration commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

1. Authority

This Declaration is made under subsection 100(1) of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (‘the Act’).

1. Declaration

Being satisfied that it would be desirable for the Act to apply to employees of Medibank Health Solutions Pty Limited (ACN 078 934 791) (‘Medibank Health Solutions’), I declare that Medibank Health Solutions is eligible to be granted a licence under Part VIII of the Act.

Note      Medibank Health Solutions is, but is about to cease to be, a Commonwealth authority.
