I, ERIC ABETZ, Minister for Employment, pursuant to subsection 5(6) of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988, make the attached amendment to the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Definition of Employee) Notice 2009 (1) (F2009L03173) dated 6 August 2009 and registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments on 12 August 2009.

This Notice is the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Definition of Employee) Amendment Notice 2013.

1. Commencement

This Notice commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

The Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Definition of Employee) Notice 2009 (1) (F2009L03173) is amended as follows:

Item 1 – Schedule – Column ‘Class of persons’

After ‘under the authority of the Attorney-General’ insert ‘or the Minister for Justice’.
