1  Name

This instrument is the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act Amendment (Operational Standards for Rehabilitation Program Providers) Determination 2022.

2  Commencement

This instrument commences on 1 July 2023.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under section 34E of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988.

4  Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act (Operational Standards for Rehabilitation Program Providers) Determination 2020

1  Section 4 Note

After “Comcare” omit “;”.

2  Subsection 6(1)

After “in a way that” omit “are”, substitute “is”.

3  Subsection 6(2)

After “employees assisted by the approved program provider” insert “are able to”.

4  Paragraph 6(2)(a)

Omit “are able to”.

5  Subparagraph 7(5)(a)(v)

Omit “or”.

6  After subparagraph 7(5)(a)(v)

Insert new subparagraph:

“(vi) Osteopath; or”.
