written to the Industrial Registrar to inform him that it does not oppose the Application on the basis that work of employees mounting displays or exhibits will be voluntary on Sunday 30 March 2014.

[5]      In circumstances of this case we grant the Application. The formal order we publish will include the requirement that work to be performed by employees on Sunday 30 March 2014 is to be voluntary.

[6]      The Commission determines and Orders accordingly.

[1]      Rural Scene Promotions Pty Ltd has made application to the Commission to conduct a special exhibition known as the "Gold Coast Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish and Boat Show 2014" to be held at the Mudgeeraba Showground, Mudgeeraba, QLD for 3 consecutive days from Friday 28 March 2014 to Sunday 30 March 2014 inclusive.

[2]      The proposed opening time on each day is 9.00 a.m. On Friday 28 March and Saturday 29 March 2014 the proposed closing time is 5.00 p.m. On Sunday 30 March 2014 the proposed closing time is 4.00 p.m.

[3]      The Applicant has conducted similar shows on the Gold Coast for the last 14 years. The 2013 Show was held at the Parklands Showgrounds, Southport between 1 and 3 March 2013, inclusive. The unavailability of that venue, due to the construction of facilities for the approaching Commonwealth Games, has necessitated its transfer to Mudgeeraba.
