Amendment (Rates) Regulation 2006

under the

Rural Lands Protection Act 1998

Her Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Rural Lands Protection Act 1998.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase the minimum general and animal health rates for
certain rural land protection districts. The increases are in the order of 4 per cent.
This Regulation is made under the Rural Lands Protection Act 1998, including section 243
(the general power to make regulations) and section 62 (the power to prescribe the minimum

rates that may be set).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Rural Lands Protection (General) Amendment
(Rates) Regulation 2006.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 January 2007.

3 Amendment of Rural Lands Protection (General) Regulation 2001

The Rural Lands Protection (General) Regulation 2001 is amended as set out in Schedule 1.
