s1 2 s4 Rural Lands Protection Amendment (No. 1) No. 119, 1997 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Rural Lands Protection Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Rural Lands Protection Regulation 1989 . ˙ Replacement of s 42B (Destruction of straying dogs) 3. Section 42B— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ Destruction of straying dogs—Act, s 236 ‘ 42B.(1) The parts mentioned in schedule 6, column 2 of the areas of the local governments mentioned in schedule 6, column 1 are specified for section 236 of the Act. ‘ (2) The words used in schedule 6, column 2 for parts of local government areas, (other than the words ‘rural land’ 1 and ‘division’) refer to the zones into which a local government area is divided under a planning scheme under the LocalGovernment(PlanningandEnvironment)Act1990 . ‘ (3) In subsection (2) and schedule 6— “division” has the meaning given by the LocalGovernmentAct1993 , section 4.’. ˙ Replacement of sch 4 (Classes of plants declared generally) 4.
